Should I enroll in a College or a University ?

A University has many courses, colleges and facilities to offer a young high school graduate. Its standards are higher because of the stability of its student population which may come in part from its elementary and high school departments. It has a larger pool of teachers who are required to have or be taking a master's degree. There will be a lot of student organizations that can help a student pursue his degree.
A College can still offer a quality education as much as a University can. Standards of academic performance may even be higher for some colleges that have some specialty course like police colleges or academies or seaman's college and many more.
If by chance you are qualified by passing the entrance exam of a University and you and your parents can agree that the tuition fee is qu
ite reachable, I think its best you take that chance since it seems that a degree from a University gives you better chances of landing a good paying job because it has higher standards and high academic achievements.
Some friends I know have taken the college route in pursuing their degrees and still end up succesful by being able to land a good paying job in Cruise ships, cargo boats and others. They say good job performance makes you want to improve academically so as to be promoted.
A good University degree usually lets you into a company in a much easier way because of the reputaion of the University.
Whatever choice you make, bear in mind that getting a good quality education depends on personal performance as good grades seem to reflect good study habits. Success is achived through talent, hard work and the right connections.
