There are several things in life that make people feel safe and secure. Some might feel safe being with a loved one. Some might feel safe having their dog next to them. And then you have me, I feel safe when I have a self defense weapon close at hand. A self defense weapon can be anything from a butter knife to a baseball bat. I on the other hand like to carry my good old fashion stun gun or pepper spray.

Let me explain to you why I like these two things and how they help me feel safe. A stun gun is an awesome tool that allows you to send anywhere from 10k to 100,000,000 volts of electricity up an attackers you know what. How much better can it be?You have a small device close at hand that uses electricity to disable an attacker. One touch by your stun gun and your attacker goes into a paralyzed state causing lack of movement and confusion. During this time you are able to run for safety or do whatever it is you see fit.

I personally would be giving the attacker a taste of their own medicine, but hey, that's just me.Then we have the all so popular pepper spray. This has to be the fan favorite. Who doesn't like having a weapon in their hand that can hit someone from nearly ten feet away?So you're walking back to your car one night and you notice someone following you. You start to feel uncomfortable and begin to walk faster. When you look back they hasten their pace as well. Now you are really scarred and begin to panic a bit.

You look back again and still see them gaining on you. After a brief mental breakdown you remember you have a little something in your purse, pepper spray. You take the pepper spray out of your purse hold it firmly in hand, and turn around and let the stalker have it. From ten feet away you hit them right in the eyes and see them fall to their knees crying like a little baby.Afterwards you now feel a little safer and call the cops for help. You get in your car and drive away, another successful mission completed by the trusty pepper spray.

If you can't tell already why I like my choice of self defense weapons then I don't know what to say. I love my pepper spray and I love my stun gun and they take good care of my family. If you were ever wondering what type of self defense product to buy, hopefully now you know.
