How to study
Step1 Visualize your text to see about what you have to study about.
Do a fast reading, just skim over the material and notice the titles and key words or expressions. Also look for graphs. Understanding graphs give you at least 80% of understanding the materials.
Step2 Read your chapters and explain each chapter to yourself and try to repeat it.
Step3 Take notes about what you have just read. It could be notes just in a form of key words, flash cards or mind map.
I prefer form of questions.
Ask yourself questions about what you have read (example: When has world war two started?) And also try to answer to questions and remember the answer while taking notes.
Step4 Answer your questions on peace of paper or fill up your key words, mind map, flash cards. (Example: if your key word is physic, fill it up with- physic is a science about etc.) You can use high
lighter to highlight your important notes.
Step5 Go over your notes and try to remember it until you actually do. Connect information with your own life. You can use paper and pen to scrabble your answers.
It is important to memorize the titles and key words and then upgrade it with above mentioned steps. You do not have to remember everything at the same time. Take a brake or study something else that is different than you have studied before. Than return back to your previous materials (you repeat only step 5 now) and keep on trying to memorize more and more. Keep doing it until you memorize it all. Do not forget take brakes or do something different at least every hour. Keep doing it step by step.
It is also important to:
Study for yourself.
Repetition is the key to remembering.
You have to answer to yourself: "How you are going to use this information now? "How you are going to use this information later?"
